There is so much to do and see while in Barcelona, and it's hard to decide where to go next. This is my list of must see places in Barcelona.

1. Montjuic- This hill is gorgeous and overlooks the Barcelona harbor as you take the cable car up. The cable car has a few different stops but we only got off at the last one, which is a castle at the very top of the mountain. We decided to pay the five euro to go into the castle, but if you decide not to spend the money, you still get a decent view from outside the castle. The castle has a unique history and the views are absolutely breathtaking.

2. Sagrada Familia- This is the unfinished Roman Catholic Church, started by one of Barcelona's most famous architects, Antoni Gaudi. They predict the church will be completely finished by 2026. Although it is not yet finished, you are still able to go inside and see the beautiful piece of art. They offer an audio tour which will provide information about everything you see inside, plus background information and the history/meanings behind everything. This church is huge and probably the most beautiful building I have ever seen.

3. Casa Mila or Casa Batllo- These are both houses that Gaudi created. They are very different, but I recommend only paying to go into one of the two. They are walking distance away from each other, so we decided to go into Casa Mila and then walk to look at Casa Batllo from the outside. They are very different from the buildings around them because Gaudi liked to stand out. I loved seeing these and learning about his unique style.

4. El Cathedral De Barcelona- We stayed in an apartment right by the Cathedral, so we saw it every day. I recommend going to see it if you have the time. There are many places right by it that we loved, such as the candy store called Happy Pills with candy that will melt in your mouth.

There are so many places to visit in Barcelona, and these were my favorites. I recommend taking the time to visit them and learn about the history of Barcelona.
